Alteus Wines
A traditional retailer of wines (and other alcoholic beverages) from around the world, Alteus Wines offer unique and mainstream wines ensuring that their customers can find a wide selection to purchase from one location – whether purchasing from their off-license shop in East Sussex or online.
A brand new ecommerce site was designed and developed by our UK (Kent) based project and development team using the Shopify platform. A major element of the project was the integration of the Point-of-Sale system to ensure real-time product & inventory management and overall stock management.
From a technical perspective, complex filtering and tagging management was developed to filter between wine grape, region and vintage etc. Due to the nature of their business operation they required complex delivery rules so as to ensure they are able to deliver to the postcodes that the business serves.
